Garavani loved going to movies, one film in particular, Ziegfeld Girl. For him, a young guy of 13, to see this sort of beauty makes he think about creating clothes for ladies.
In 1950 , he moved to Paris to study fashion at the École of the Chambre. Then he retuned to Rome, where he opened his first sewing studio.
Valentino Clemente Ludovico Garavani nació el 11 de mayo de 1932 en Voghera, es un diseñador de moda italiano y fundador de la marca y empresa Valentino SpA.
A Garavanni le encantaba ir al cine, una película en particular, Ziegfeld Girl. Para él, un chico de 13 años, ver este tipo de belleza lo hace pensar en crear ropa para damas.
En 1950, se mudó a París para estudiar moda en la Ecole de la Chambre. Luego regresó a Roma, donde abrió su primer estudio de costura.
